Solace

Solace is a piece that was created at a time in my life when there was a dominant felling of sadness and hopelessness. battling an addiction to alcohol and also questioning if I should even keep pursuing art. Despite being in dark times, I would occasionally get a sensation of light and warmth a feeling of peace and content. There was a moment when I felt this, comforted and reassured I decided it was time to really make change and stick to it. this piece is to represent that there is aways hope, that change is attainable, and light is always there no matter how dark life can be at times.
